“ Yesterday i had the pleasure of dining at a agrotourism Klaj in the beautiful Istria . From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere and the friendly owners, Alan and Ivana. The restaurant specializes in home-made cuisine, and I was delighted to find that all the ingredients used in the dishes were sourced locally and prepared with care. I was particularly impressed with the pljukanci , which were made with fresh, handmade pasta from their own flour and topped with the most delicious truffles I have ever tasted. The restaurant's attention to costumers and commitment to quality was evident in every aspect of the meal, from the perfectly cooked main courses to the exquisite desserts. Every dish was bursting with flavor. Alan and Ivana were exceptional hosts, making sure that every guest felt welcomed and well-cared for. They were happy to provide recommendations and suggestions, and their enthusiasm for their food and their region was infectious. Overall, I would highly recommend this family restaurant to anyone visiting Istria. With its delicious home-made cuisine, excellent service, and warm atmosphere, it is a true gem. “ This beautiful place was recommended to us by a friendly lady we met in Novigrad, whom we asked for a REALLY good restaurant far away from all the mass tourism. We weren't disappointed, we were actually amazed! The location is breathtakingly beautiful, the atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant, and we encountered excellent hospitality and very good food. A lot of the food is from the hosts' own production and I can really recommend the wine and grappa from the region. The food was in fact so good that I forgot to take pictures after the starters Also, the price was more than okay, especially considering the quality and amount of food. If I ever return to this region (which I hope), I'll definitely eat here again! ”
